I thought I would like this product because I have watched the authors videos. The book starts out a bit confusing. I have used Light room previously and did not need the intro chapters. Have not gone through the rest of the book as yet; therefore it might prove better after I do. I haven’t finished this book yet but I love what I have read and learned thus far.

I got this book mainly for LightroomCC. You have to download information and files from the net. The process is over complicated , having exchanging several emails emails with the company I was eventually able to download the files. Probably just teething troubles. Im sure that they will improve the experience.

The book provides lots of information and is worth having , glad I persevered with them. Not used the downloadable tutorials, which will probably help make more sense, but with practice this will be a helpful guide to demystify photoshop.

Recommend that its read in bite sized chunks!! This book was brought for me as a present by my daughter. I am new to lightroom and I have found that the book shows me in a clear logical way how to use the lightroom software. It is well laid out and easy to understand and guides you through the process of managing and editing your photographs. Report abuse. There is no “Step 3” so no download is possible. They do not have telephone support, only contact via a message on their site. You leave the message, get an acknowledgement, but no response. I entered peachpit and signed in. I enter the ISBN in the book and it was not accepted. So i will return the book. If you order from adobe or peach pit i guess it it will be ok. I contacted amazon and peachpit and the next day problem solved.

Speedy response by peachpit and amazon. I just finished registering the book and downloading the free lessons. I had no trouble with any of it, and I am not a computer specialist. The book was in perfect condition when it arrived. The book is well organized, with the steps for each procedure indented and numbered.

I just have to find the time to take advantage of all the bounty! Excellent textbook. Even for teaching my 75 year old mother Photoshop. Full color coated textbook paper. I needed this book for a college class. It walks you through design step by step but doesn’t explain much. It’s easy to follow but I feel like I’m learning a shallow version of PS.

It’s easy to follow and is loaded with pictures. Excellent book for a beginner. Does not leave out any steps and doesn’t assume that you should know. Great book to have as a reference.
